Information regarding the exam format
The TestDaF comprises the four subtests Reading Comprehension, Listening Comprehension, Written Production (160 minutes in total) and Oral Production (individual exam of 30 minutes). You will find detailed information on the TestDaF homepage www.testdaf.de.
The examination results are assigned to one of three levels in all exam parts:
- TestDaF level 3
- TestDaF level 4
- TestDaF level 5
Usually TestDaF level 4 allows you to register at a German university.
